3 Practice Exams in 2 different modes

The exam covers planning prior to the course, methods and media for instructional delivery, instructor credibility and communications, group facilitation and evaluating the training event.

Adobe, Dell, Microsoft, Novell and Ricoh recommend that their trainers be CompTIA CTT+ certified. The Training Associates also look for CompTIA CTT+ certification when assigning trainers.

CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer Essentials: TK0-201

There were no CTT+ practice exams to be found anywhere, so I decided to make some.  These practice tests are up to date as of February 2014.  As of this writing CompTIA last updated this exam on April 2013.


ABOUT THE TESTS

There are 2 types of practice tests:

Guided Tests and Simulated Tests

-Guided Tests = The correct answer is given after each question.

Guided Test Instructions: Select the appropriate answers and then click OK.  Feedback will then appear indicating if the answers you have selected are correct or incorrect.  Clicking OK on the feedback window with the happy face/stop sign does not work in Guided Test Mode. To move to the next question click on the next question number on the lower right.  The feedback window will often obscure the correct answer(s).  
To review the correct answers in Guided Test Mode you must move to the next question, then select the back button in the browser.  When finished reviewing, select the forward button in the browser. 


-Simulated Tests = Overall score and summary appear at the end of the test.

Simulated Test Instructions: Select the appropriate answers and click OK to proceed to the next question.  Once a question has been answered it cannot be corrected.


The CTT Practice Tests use a simple html format and are based on questions from the book
"How to be a Successful Technical Trainer: Core skills for Instructor
Certification".  20 additional questions come from the Comptia practice test.

Each Comptia CTT practice test is 105 questions and timed at 1 hour and 45 minutes.  The real test is 95 questions and timed at 90 minutes.  It just worked out that I had 315 questions after I finished the book, hence 3 different tests at 105 questions each.  I passed the exam the first time!  

  
INSTRUCTIONS

 Open the guided or simulated folder, then open one of the test folders.

 To begin the test, open the file named "CTT Practice Test 1.htm", "CTT Practice Test 2.htm" or "CTT Practice Test 3.htm" with Firefox.  Be advised that other browsers may not run this test properly.  

The timer will begin when the test is launched.  
There is no way to pause the test once it has been started.

The back button in the browser allows you to go to the previous question(s).
